About US

Vigilant Security Unit  began in Monterey, California and first offered only convention and event private security. As the company developed and time past, we became a contract private security company, providing private security officers and physical security services for both large enterprises and small organizations. We now provide additional services including access control, vehicle patrol, reception/concierge, perimeter/walking patrol, temporary security coverage, gatehouse, and transition.

Recently, we have added private investigative services and the company is now known as Vigilant Security Unit and Investigative Services, LLC.  We also provide biometric electronic fingerprinting with level two background checks certified by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) and FBI.  Our Investigators have the necessary knowledge, experience, training, and skills to perform various types of investigations to include cyber security, digital forensics, social media investigations, and infidelity investigations. 

We provide our services to markets such as commercial real estate, manufacturing and industrial, residential communities, office buildings, schools, colleges, and universities, healthcare facilities, shopping centers, conventions and events, and provides executive protection.
